Jellybean row houses
St. John's, Newfoundland - The downtown of St. John’s is renowned for its brightly coloured Victorian row houses. They’ve been a hit with tourists for years. The idea started in 1977 and quickly spread outwards.
Because of their vibrant colours, the houses are known affectionately as “Jellybean Row”, a generic nickname that refers to ALL rowhouses in the downtown area.
