McGlade’s fuel station, top of Ormeau Road, Belfast

This block also had a chemists and a post office but both have since gone. It’s now a Mace supermarket and Top fuel station with a chippy in the last unit. When I was a kid a robbery went wrong and a man working in the shop was shot dead. Not sure what year but it was 30 September - my Dad’s birthday. Beside the station is a row of old terrace houses.
