Botox is still used for a lot of medical treatments, but it is possibly more extensively known for its use in anti-aging treatments for both women and men. When used for aesthetic purposes, botox injections are used to decrease deep scowl lines between the eyes. The injection is not planned to paralyse the face as some people believe, but just to relax the muscles and impede the patient from subconsciously grimacing or frowning, therefore making more lines and deep wrinkles.
