Ode To A Warm Urn

The scene outside it looks like this,

White but dark and cold.

Taking pictures I will miss

Must think of something bold!

 

There must be one thing here to snap

However uninspiring

This vase with leaves is what I'll tap

A long exposure firing.

 

It's not so great, not so fine

No prize winner I fear

Observe this work of curve and line,

At least it's warm in here!
