Turning Point
Folks can walk along that elevated trail on up to the mouth of the Genesee River. It's not far from here. The Lower Falls is about a mile upstream from this point.

This was once a heavily used industrial area with ships visiting docks to load and unload coal, wheat, feldspar, paper boxes, and tourists. An active cement plant still operates on this site"
