This ornate frieze (I think that's what these are called) shows the Roman goddess Minerva looking out on the town of Mystic CT from the Mystic Noank Library. Minera is the one goddess to have when you're only having one, as she is the goddess of wisdom, war, art, schools and commerce (whew!)
