"....Come Hither"

In Highland Park's Poets Garden there are a half dozen or so stone benches that were installed there decades ago. All have engraved inscriptions from famous poets. Most are nearly impossible to read.

 

I was able to decipher these words of Shakespeare on the one in this picture. It is properly inviting....

 

"Under the greenwood tree

come hither, come hither."
