Capt. Dave is an artist and craftsman in Towneshend Tennessee. He has a shop in Townshend just outside of the National Park where you can purchase some of his work. On the back lot he had pieces he was working on that would require a crane to pick up. ( which he has ) . Much of his work is focused on bears and Smoky mountains primitive art but if you browse his store you will find he also has some finely detailed work as well. He also makes furniture and fireplace mantels. He is a very approachable friendly guy that is more than happy to show you around. He is a former firefighter that pursued his love of carving into a profession. He is very talented.
