610 seconds (Explored #1)

Single frame. 610 seconds.

This week I’m on a word diet. The verbal equivalent of one of those ultra modern apartments. You know the ones – all white walls and no clutter. Where the unopened copy of Brosmopolitan sits perfectly positioned alongside Horse and Bride on the Philippe Starck coffee table. A coffee table with only one leg. Because less is more, right?

Well, that’s what this is. No more flowery prose. I’m just going to describe things the way they are.

So here it is…..it was a perfectly ordinary evening and I just stuck a load of filters on the camera before opening the shutter for 610 seconds. And this dropped out of the memory card. Nobody died. I didn’t break anything. And the photographer next to me who spent the evening telling me how bad my technique was may have had artistic vision but certainly didn’t have good peripheral vision. Or he would have noticed the dog that had wandered up the beach perform a particularly unsavoury act with his camera bag. It may need a rinse.

So there you have it. The blurb equivalent of a one legged coffee table.

Have a fabulous week, Flickrities.
