Westfield Carousel - Albany Highway Car Park
Ground level car parking and right turn flyover ramp to roof car parking area at Westfield Carousel in Cannington prior to the start of major works to expand the centre.This section opened in 1999 and included Kmart, Coles supermarket, new Hoyts cinemas and an expansion of the Myer department store which allowed it to consolidate to the former Aherns site from the Boans location. Woolworths was relocated at the opposite end of the centre and the interior underwent a full refurbishment.
In 2017 the Albany Highway car parking area made way for a new David Jones department store and mall with 60 shops with a 3 level car parking structure included at the corner of Liege Street on a site formerly occupied by a standalone KFC and Hungry Jacks. The flyover ramp was partially demolished to make way for the mall; the remainder will connect to the new structure much closer to Albany Highway.
