European Starling (Sturnus vulgaris) male; Belmont Park, Kelowna, BC. Yes, they're common and unappealing in small flocks, dazzling in murmurations (we rarely see enough at one time to see this phenomenon, (thanks, MN?), and amazingly colourful when isolated on a lawn!
