Silly goose?!

Common Merganser (Mergus merganser) with Canada Geese, Raptor Pond, Thomson Marsh, Kelowna, BC.

 

I saw a pair of CMergs in this location a week ago when the bird count was underway. Today there were four males, of which this one seemed the boldest. The geese seemed a little surprised.
