Song Sparrow (Melospiza melodia) - 1 [soty17]

I've often thought that photos of SOSPs taken in the east showed a prettier bird than our darker western subspecies. This guy showed up just below us on a footbridge over the La Salle River, and gave us a great show both visually and aurally! His display was entirely voluntary; I did nothing to entice it!
