Our "goto place" for this species. While it's reassuring to know that they return here every year, I'm not pleased with my shots this time. It's difficult bush to work (true for most AMRE locales, I believe), and I think we were overconfident that he would be more cooperative the next day; he wasn't. But I don't blame the bird. It just wasn't our time.... I understand, now, that I can find them much closer to home....
