Migrating Western Kingbirds -03
Thomson Marsh, Kelowna, BC. At least one and probably two are juveniles. I watched the parent on the right feed the juvie on the left a very large dragon fly which it devoured in one gulp....
Am pretty sure these are not the birds raised in TMarsh this season, but migrants just passing through. Moments after I took this shot, they flew across the pond and headed south....
