The neo-Baroque facades of the building are filled with oriel elements, balustrades, cartouches, sculptural groups in pathos and other plastic elements. The house, together with the buildings at 5 and 7/9 Kr.Barona Street, forms a single architectural ensemble, the architecture of which reflects the development of Konstantīns Pēkšēns' creative handwriting, from luxurious, pompous eclecticism to rational, applied Art Nouveau. This building is one of the factor which brings tourists to Krišjāņa Barona street which has also much more interesting architecture and streetscapes to offer.
