Commercial and office buildings Deutschlandhaus and Europahaus (high-rise) at Askanischer Platz.

Architects: Richard Bielenberg, Otto Firle and Josef Moser. Architectural style: New Objectivity. Europahaus is a large high-rise office block located in the Kreuzberg district on Stresemannstraße, facing the remains of the former Anhalter Bahnhof railway terminus across Askanischer Platz. It was one of the first modern high-rise office buildings to be constructed in the city in 1926-1931. Height: 50 m. Today, the building complex houses the Berlin headquarters of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, the Federal Agency for Civic Education, a contact point of the Robert Koch Institute and the Water and Shipping Directorate East.
