W2QXR Homebrew AM transmitter - Modulator chassis
The modulator uses some really old (World War II surplus) parts. When I unsoldered some of the lugs, I was melting solder originally applied by Rosie the Riveter. This chassis contains both the modulator and its 1 Kilovolt power supply. There is heavy iron in this chassis, and it will require 2 or 3 guys to eventually lift it into its cabinet. It completely built except for the high voltage in and out connectors. The tubes are a pair of 811-A triodes.
