Smoke Detector

The old hard-wired smoke detector was in the space at the top of the photo. There was no way to unplug the old detector, so Lisa, after turning off the power, cut the wires and capped them off with wire nuts. She then installed a new 10-year battery-powered ionization smoke detector below the old detector.
