The Faces

My photos of the fascinating Faces Motifs
Large often multi color anthropomorph figures, square or bucket flat top heads, front facing, slit or oval eyes, mask like with no mouth , high slightly sloped shoulders or hair ending in shoulder bobs, large chin, neck lines or necklaces, torsos angle down inward then taper toward parallel, often with sashes, typically no arms and legs, often an interesting array of other decorative features where no two are the same but they are all very similar. Found appearing singly or groups lined up in neat rows, finished or unfinished or barely even started, well preserved to well worn away, most are painted, some on prepared surfaces, but a few are carved out of the rock, some a little of both. I'll include rudimentary bucket head outline figures as they have the most basic similarity and are frequently enough found in direct association.
In the Needles usually associated with late Pueblo II / Pueblo III sites.
