Very pleasantly surprised by the OOF (Out Of Focus) rendering of the FE16-35mm f2.8GM.
At 35mm and f2.8, there's too much DOF for much bokeh blur but this GM lens still managed to have a very smooth OOF rendering, no hard edges whatsoever.
Sony claims to push sharpness and smooth bokeh to the max for GM level lenses, I can see that in the 3 GM lenses I own but I don't know what they have done to achieve this.
Just to add, the new Olympus 17mm f1.2 Pro lens sells for US$1,200, now that to me is just insane!
