BR Class 56 56026, Burton-on-Trent
So typical of freight operation for so many years, an mgr coal train approaches Burton behind Class 56 56026 on 21st. August 1989. I'm not well up on the preserved railway scene, but has an effort been made to save any of these wagons? They played such an important role in the operation of our railways and for such a long period; they're surely deserving of a place in our musuems and preserved lines.
