BR Class 03 03179, Ipswich
BR Class 03 03179 parked in the Lower Yard at Ipswich, 15th. April 1985. In times past, the Lower Yard and Ipswich Dock had been a hive of rail activity requiring a complement of several shunting locomotives, but by this time there was just a trickle of traffic left. For those familiar with Ipswich, the locomotive is parked very near to where the railway crossed the road near Stoke Bridge.
