Jardim de Olhao: The gardens were built in 1992 to celebrate the longlasting friendly ties Morocco holds with Portugal (Agadir is twinned with the Portuguese town of Olhao). It is a refreshing, cool and relaxing spot where natives of the town are often seen spending a calm evening in memory of a dear friend or family member who died in the earthquake of 1960. The photo shows the entrance to the earthquake museum. The guide who showed me around told me that his own father was fortunate to have survived the disaster.
