Reynolds1(framing&compostion)

For this week I took another picture of a horse. This is not my horse, but she is my firend's horse. Almost every week I try to take pictures of something other than horses but I usually end up resorting back to them. I thought that this meets the goal because the branches and leaves clearly frame the horse.

 

This picture ended up being harder to take than I thought. Every time I would walk the horse over the spot where I wanted it and by the time I would run behind the tree, she would start wondering back over to the rest of the herd. When I finally got her in the right spot and got her to stay, I only got a few good shots before she ran away. But For this picture my goals were to get framing and correctly use the rule of thirds. When i was editing, I cropped the picture to the point where I thought that the horse was in one of the intersecting lines, for the rule of thirds. This picture is not my favorite because I don't like how the horse isn't focused enough and i think the branches look over exposed, but besides that I thought this picture turned out pretty successful.
