1491. Ellora Caves (14)

This plaque carved on a wall of the cave needs close examination to identify that this combines the Hindu, Buddhist and Jain legends. The central figure is that of Buddha and the majority are Hindu deities. Jain Guru Mahavir can be seen at the lower left hand corner.
