Great Granny's Squares1 (4)
I made this quilt for my new great-niece after coming across the tutorial for this great granny square block online blueelephantstitches.blogspot.com/2012/01/granny-square-q... using scraps and white kona cotton. Two fabric squares in each block are identical, one pink and one purple, and those came from my late mother's sewing supplies, which I came across while clearing out her house to put it up for sale. I decided to use some of her fabric in this quilt so that it was a gift not only from me but from Mom as well.
