Greatly reduced in importance

The main station buildings at Manors, the first station north from Newcastle Central on 8th March 1985. There is still a station here composed of a single island platform. Activity levels will soon increase with the addition of the new service from Newcastle to Ashington. Manors was originally the terminus of the Blyth & Tyne route.
