In a somewhat irritating half sun/half shadow lighting on 12th May 1987, 45108 heads the 14:25 Newcastle to Liverpool service 1M76 at Plawsworth. Nothing exceptional about the picture, but the services were supposed to be exclusively in the hands of Gateshead Cl 47/4s by this time, although the train is composed of a full rake of TP livery stock. In reality Peaks continued to put in the odd appearance until mid-June.
