Vertigo, Mayan style

The view from the top of the Nohuc-Mul Great Pyramid at Coba. This is the tallest pyramid in the Yucatan (about 130 feet tall). And it's pretty steep. Going up these things is always easy... coming back down is another story.

Coba is a well known Mayan site not far from Cancun. It is unique in that it has been minimally restored so the few structures that have been uncovered seem to grow right out of the surrounding jungle. Coba, Mexico.
