Launceston, St Mary Magdelene’s

The Grade I listed parish church of Launceston, a former county capital, is St Mary Magdalene. St Mary Magdalene is famous for its carved granite facade which is unparalleled in England. Also famous for a large Georgian painted clockface on the tower that seems to have been recently repainted. Widely regarded as the most spectacular late medieval church in Cornwall.
