Domaine acquis par Jules-François-Louis Levé, qui entreprend en 1926 la démolition de la ferme précédemment en place et fait ériger son château en 1930. Il complète ce patrimoine en 1943 avec l'édification du pigeonnier.
Demeure bourgeoise à la construction d'apparence médiévale, Montjoux (France) est en fait une réalisation récente, datant des années 1930 et inspirée d'une construction gothique anglaise. Les façades sont recouvertes de pierre d'Allinges, village proche de Thonon. Certains éléments de décor, comme les vitraux de l'entrée, sont des pièces anciennes rapportées.

A bourgeois residence with a medieval-looking construction, Montjoux (France) is in fact a recent achievement, dating from the 1930s and inspired by an English Gothic construction. The facades are covered with stone from Allinges, a village near Thonon. Some of the decorative elements, such as the stained glass windows of the entrance, are old patches.
