~FIRST TOMATOES~

"Those 1st tomatoes of the season always

bring me to me knees! Salads will be so

much better now that the fresh, right off the

vine, garden tomatoes are comin' in! Not

to mention that all time Southern Summer

Staple....the tomato sandwich! Now, that's

good eatin', Y'all!"

"I declare, every year, that the tomato

sandwich was invented so we wouldn't

have to cut the stove on during the hot-

test part of the day. Some of us honest-

ly do have us one for lunch every day.

Just wash, slice, slather that mayo be-

tween two pieces of white (by all means

white) bread, lay that slice of heaven on

and we're eatin' high on the hog and

lovin' every bite of it!" LOL
