During the week that a poll stating ‘almost two thirds of white Britons felt immigration had been bad for the UK’ and with the prospect of my home town Bristol becoming a ‘City of Sanctuary’ for migrants, I took to the streets to learn what kind of welcome immigrants received here.
I spent 1 week visiting 5 locations around the city, interviewing migrants about their experiences.
