...you'd think she'd be slightly more concerned about protecting herself from the head-hitting--the-hard-street-moment, but what can beat the feelings of warm wind in your hair and besides we are young and careless right? ;) Surprisingly most students do not use helmets. All that knowledge is not much good if you bump your head on the curb.
In Italy - of all places - they pasted a law requiring helmets and everyone actually wears one.
