Redtail defies Photoshop to create Prune Tool
Hours of context-fill and cloning might expose this bird to public view, but it's not worth the effort and would falsify the image. However, I do fantasize about a post-processing tool that would resolve such obstructed views. Years ago during a natural resource inventory that involved lots of nonlethal trapping, a more experienced zoologist told me that a Mammal could be defined as anything that ate Peanut Butter. My retort these days is that a Bird is any creature that perches on two legs in a tree, facing away from the camera with at least one twig between the photographer and the creature's eye.
