"Newspaper Rock" petroglyphs Wupatki National Monument Arizona

In my travels through Utah, Arizona and Nevada I have numerous times encountered very similar markings left by the native peoples of the area. Most archeologists believe that most of ones we found were made anywhere from thousands of years ago to after the Europeans arrived as there have been petroglyphs showing men on horseback.
