D&H 653 leads a train up the Jeff Connector at Jefferson Jct. near Lanesboro, PA on November 17, 1985. This train continued on towards Buffalo once it was on the Southern Tier Line, and I chased it until the light was gone around Chemung, NY. For all the time I spent catching Lanesboro Detours, I have very little to show of anything at this location, much to my shame. It would have been easy to photograph trains at a few locations while they made the moves to rearrange the power at Lanesboro. I spent most of the time at Starrucca Viaduct.
