B&P 3032 Mt. Pleasant Rd.

After bailing out on the LA&L after my previous post, I drove over to the G&W line. It's just 6 miles across the Genesse Valley from Avon, through Fowlerville, to the G&W tracks. I followed the line down to the mine. and as expected, the salt train was getting ready to leave with salt loads. I got clouded out at my first couple of sets, but got sun at Wadsworth, Retsof, and here at Mt. Pleasant Road in York, NY. You can see the cloud line to the South as the GW1 with 45 loads passes a field of fresh hay. I called it quits after this and returned home. Not a bad afternoon when you can go out and catch Alco's on the LA&L, and then spartan cab EMD's in just a couple hours time, and never be further than 20 miles from home. June 19, 2020.
