Conrail 6067 West Cameron
An ex Erie Lackawanna SD45 is on home rails as it leads an Eastbound Conrail freight at MP318 in West Cameron, NY on March 15, 1980. I had spent the day with Dan Hoh and Scott Reynolds around the Hornell area. It was getting late in the afternoon and as this train was working at ZY, Scott asked if he could ride the train to Gang Mills. You can see Scott hanging out the window of the 2nd unit. Dan and I chased the train down to Gang Mills to pick up Scott. The shadows were growing long in the Canisteo Valley, but we found a pocket of sun near MP318 for this photo.
