Coke Cats
A pair of units in well worn Chessie colors lead a loaded coke train at CP29 on the P&LE in Beaver Falls, PA on April 2, 1991. The train is holding for a meet with Eastbound traffic. CP29 is the West end of a long stretch of double track between Aliquippa and Beaver Falls, and is often a good place to catch meets on CSX as well as over under action since the CR (now NS) Fort Wayne Line runs above the P&LE (now CSX) just behind the highway bridge. Kodachrome 200 scan.
