Hi guys. I wanted to share an image from a series of photographic kitchen tours I'm doing for Apartment Therapy's kitchen site, "the kitchn". The first went up a week or two ago but there wasn't any food in it so I didn't share. This one was a tour of a friend's spice pantry and features two recipes. This image shows Poha - a typical breakfast dish in Western India of flattened rice with onions, potatoes, nuts, curry leaves, green chilies and all sorts of spices including turmeric, mustard seeds, and asafoetida. There's a slideshow associated with the tour and links to the recipes with additional photos at the bottom of the article. You can see it here. I'll be posting the same recipes with some additional commentary to my blog this weekend. Hope you have a look. I'll share a couple of the other images here over the next couple days.
