Ladybower Reservoir.

This is one of the two sink holes at Ladybower reservoir, the other one is on the other side near the far little tower.

They are quite spectacular when you get to see them like this and because of all the recent rain i think they will be like this for quite some time.

This photo was taken wednesday of this week and is probably the only dry day of this month so far, especially up here in the north of England. It was so nice to see a bit of sunshine and blue sky, it certainly helped lighten up the autumn colours, though not in this particular shot as the sun had gone behind the hill directly behind where i took this photo.

It was a lovely afternoon though and a very nice walk.
