Under Restoration: London Transport - RT2291 KGU320 - AEC Regent Mk.III O961 - Weymann
This Weymann bodied version of London's ubiquitous RT was new in 08/1949 entering service from the Dalston garage. After life with LT, it worked as a promotional bus for a couple of companies prior to being 'abandoned' on a farm. There were not many photos of it in 'flickrland' and although it has been on the rally circuit in the past, it received a further and thorough restoration and reappeared on the rally scene during 2022, however it now seems to be undergoing further restoration.
