New to Xelabus(428), Colden Common, in 12/2016, this relatively smart, by Warrington's standard, Enviro 200 is seen here on Winwick Street, arriving at Warrington Bus Interchange, on 13/03/2024. It is operating in on Service 19 11:54 Leigh Bus Station - Glazebury - Culcheth - Croft - Winwick - Longford - Warrington Bus Interchange. This is among a number of second/third hand Enviro 200s, along with sister 245, YY66PDX, in Warrington's mish-mash of a fleet(and liveries). It's destination has already been set for a return service. There are 105 electric Volvo BZL single-deckers due for Warrington, the arms length operated municipal operator, which obtained with ZEBRA funding. A new depot has been constructed on Dallam Lane to house these electrics with the intention of replacing all of the diesel buses. © Peter Steel 2024.
