Preston Bus - 152 PO56RSZ - Scania N94 UD - East Lancs OmniDekka
Preston Bus bought only two of these Scania N94 UD 'deckers, this and sister 151, PO56RSY, both being new in 01/2007. Here 152 is seen leaving Preston Bus Station on 16/01/2009. It is operating Service 35 to Tanterton, via Fylde Road. It became 15407 in the Stagecoach Preston Bus fleet, then 30407, later 40407 in the Rotala Preston Bus fleet.
On 23/01/2009, Preston Bus was sold to Stagecoach with the routes operated by Preston Bus being rebranded as Stagecoach in Preston from 03/2009.
In 11/2009, the Competition Commission ruled that the takeover by Stagecoach had adversely affected competition in the area and ordered Stagecoach sell Preston Bus. Following this ruling, the Preston Bus name and logo was reinstated and the company was operated at arm's length from the main Stagecoach business.
