Under Restoration: RM7 VLT7 - AEC/PRV Routemaster R2RH - Park Royal
This RM was among the first of the type to enter service with LT and did so in 06/1959. Having a later body fitted during overhaul by LT, it is seen here on display at a rally at Keighley, on 19/06/2005. Having since changed hands in preservation, it received a thorough immaculate restoration to original condition and appeared as such during 2014 and then later received a thorough internal restoration. Entering LT service at Willesden, it then worked out of West Ham, Potters Bar, West Ham(again), Norbiton, Barking and finally Camberwell where it was withdrawn from service in 08/1985 and was once Camberwell's showbus.
The camera being a Pentax MZ-M with the film being a Fujichrome Colourslide.
I would request, as with all my photos, that they are not copied or downloaded in any way, shape or form. © Peter Steel 2005.
