Preserved London Transport - RM2213 CUV213C - AEC/PRV Routemaster R2RH - Park Royal
This immaculate late RM was new to LT in 05/1965 and is seen here on display at the Llangollen Railway Classic Transport Weekend, Glyndyfrdwy Station, Wales, on 03/07/2022. This event was returning after a three year hiatus. This RM, owned by Alan Jones, initially worked out of the Hackney garage and was one of the last standard length RMs built, the last being numbered RML2217. It was withdrawn in 1998 and passed to K&D Coach Hire, Dyserth, Wales. She then passed to a couple of other private owners for continued restoration prior to being purchased by A1 Bus, Peterborough, in 2006. In 08/2019, A1 Bus ceased trading and she passed to her current owner for preservation. I will show a photo of mine of this bus when in operational service with London Buses. © Peter Steel 2022.
