Preserved London Transport - RT2291 KGU320 - AEC Regent Mk.III O961 - Weymann

This Weymann bodied version of London's ubiquitous RT was new in 08/1949 entering service from the Dalston garage. After life with LT, it worked as a promotional bus for a couple of companies prior to being 'abandoned' on a farm. There are not many photos of it in 'flikrland' and although it has been on the rally circuit in the past, it looks as if it has recently received a further and thorough restoration. Looking smart, it is seen here on display at the Llangollen Railway Classic Transport Weekend, Glyndyfrdwy Station, Wales, on 03/07/2022. This weekend was returning after a three year hiatus. © Peter Steel 2022.
