Stagecoach - 16331 N331NPN - Volvo Olympian YN2RC16V3 - Alexander RL
Despite its South-Coast' registration, thus implying Stagecoach Southdown, this coach seated Volvo Olympian was new to Stagecoach Manchester(707), in 03/1996. It was then transferred to Stagecoach Ribble(2277) and operated out of Preston being route branded for X2 Preston - Southport. Transferred further north to Lancaster, it is seen here on A6 Cable Street, having just departed from Lancaster Bus Station, on 28/05/2005, when operating an extended 555 service to Carlisle, via the central Lake District. The standard 555, which still runs today operates between Lancaster and Keswick with a few services operating on the M6 Motorway between Junction 34 Holiday Inn to Junction 36 A590 for A591 to Kendal then as normal to Keswick. I think this Olympian then moved onto Lillyhall(West Cumbria), then to Moxon, Oldcotes.
